When most people think about victims of cancer, a picture of someone in their latter years usually comes to mind. "Explosive Siren" was the first image in a series of dark art concepts I conjured up for the collection of Crypt Studios promo shoots I've been working on within the past year. I wanted something very bold, stark, and bombastic that encompassed the criteria setup by the Crypt fellas (heavy music and rock & roll women with a dark edge).My thought process started with the overall shape of the image and worked its way into the details. A new life entered my life a few months ago when my son Ian was born. He's mine and my wife's first child and we couldn't be happier. He popped out a healthy, handsome, wrinkly, blond, lanky, 6 lb. 9 oz. confused, screamy, bundle of love who gets cuter by the day. He's made my life so much richer as each day we get to know each other a little better and I've come to the conclusion, I really like this guy.Of course, as any parent knows, you get busy.
